Babcock Library Complaint Policy

A.  If a patron complaint cannot be handled immediately by the Head Librarian at the time of receipt, then the Head Librarian will suggest putting the complaint in writing and submitting the complaint to the Babcock Library Board of Directors.  Instructions for submitting the complaint to the Board of Directors will be provided by the Head Librarian.

B. The complaints submitted to the board will be handled in the following order:

1. By the Library Board of Directors at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
2. By the Library Board of Directors at a special meeting.

C. All complaints submitted to the Library Board of Directors will be acknowledged by the Library Board of Directors.
