FALL SERIES: Light Beyond Clutter with Judy Carlson, Professional Organizer, Beacon Organizing Carlson will talk on organizing the house in general and kitchens and closets in particular. Judy will have props on hand helping us to better understand organization of the contents of our homes. How often have we cleaned up our living space and felt peace of mind? Judy will provide us with a systematic way to do this so it doesn’t have to be just now and then. A free program, open to all. Light refreshments. |

FALL SERIES: CT Mountain Lions with Bill Betty, mountain lion advocate from Rhode Island.
Betty will give a 90-minute PowerPoint presentation that covers all aspects of cougar behavior. Sport hunting, reproduction, pets, predation, and habituation are covered in detail. Various theories about why cougars are rapidly reoccupying the Northeast will be discussed. His narrative of close encounters with nature’s perfect predator gives compelling testimony about the presence of the puma in New England.
A free program, open to all. Light refreshments.

FALL SERIES: Revitalize and Refresh with Raw Food Chef Mary Lawrence, Well on Wheels
This will be a food demo and talk. The latest trend in cooking is not to cook…hence, “raw foods.” By leaving fruits and vegetables in their natural state, we experience not only their delicious and satisfying flavors, but also the health benefits of live enzymes which aid in digestion, key factors in fighting disease.
A free program, open to all. Light refreshments.
